Collaboration / Collapse is a night of performances by pairs of artists within an architectural installation by David B. Smith – a secret room constructed entirely of blank canvases within the larger exhibition ‘Objective Affection’. The artists will present works in sound, video, and conceptual performance to engage with the space and investigate themes of partnership and collaborative processes. Just as the performers will work together, they will also work with Smith by enacting his piece as a morphing screening room, theater, art gallery, and social space.
